At Axestrack we are building next-generation AI-powered systems in the logistics and mobility space. As a Software Engineer you will work on real-world problems at scale — designing, building, and deploying intelligent systems that directly impact business outcomes. This is a high-ownership, engineering-first role where you are expected to go beyond using AI tools and instead build, optimise, and ship production-grade solutions.
Job Responsibilities:
- Design and build AI-powered systems and workflows from scratch.
- Translate ambiguous business problems into scalable technical solutions.
- Write clean, efficient, production-ready code (primarily in Python).
- Build and integrate APIs, backend services, and AI pipelines.
- Rapidly prototype, test, and iterate on AI-driven features.
- Work closely with product and engineering teams to ship high-impact solutions.
- Continuously improve system performance using data-driven insights.
Experience:
- 0–1 year of hands-on experience in software development, AI, or ML roles.
- Strong foundation in Data Structures & Algorithms and problem solving.
- Solid understanding of core CS fundamentals (OS, DBMS, networking basics).
- Proficiency in at least one programming language, Python preferred.
- Ability to break down complex problems and think in systems.
- High ownership mindset and the ability to work in fast-paced environments.
- Strong signals: competitive programming, hackathons, open-source, or deployed AI/ML and backend projects (0→1 experience).
- Familiarity with APIs, system design basics, LLMs, SQL, or performance optimisation is highly preferred.
Qualifications:
- B.Tech / B.E. in Computer Science or a related field from a Tier-1 institute.
- Candidates from IITs, BITS Pilani, and comparable institutes are strongly preferred.
